Independent Living Skills Assessment
Every journey begins with understanding where you are. Our ILS evaluation identifies strengths, challenges, and specific support needs across all areas of daily living. We take time to listen and observe how a client manages tasks in their current environment and gather information to build an effective training plan.
The result is a written report with recommendations and suggested training goals that reflect the client’s lifestyle, preferences, and objectives.
The assessment includes:
✓ Review of medical and low vision reports to understand functional vision;
✓ Evaluation of lighting, contrast, and environmental layout at home or work;
✓ Identification of tools and strategies already in use;
✓ Screening for sensory and organizational skills;
✓ Evaluation of safety and efficiency in daily routines such as grooming, cooking, and medication management.
